Our corporate volunteer program was created to strengthen ties with the communities along our network and, at the same time, give our employees an opportunity to channel their commitment to community service. TGN volunteers take part in community initiatives and carry out projects that contribute to the common good and add value to our operations. In turn, TGN’s CSR programs are designed and implemented based on proposals submitted by the volunteers themselves.

The program aims to raise awareness of the importance of preventing damage to gas pipelines and related facilities. We work with educational communities -in particular with students from elementary and high schools near our network – through activities and engaging experiences that help them to learn basic prevention guidelines. This way, we can reach everyone who may affect the safe operation of the gas transportation system.

Our local supplier development program seeks to enhance people’s capabilities to provide services, by creating and strengthening small businesses through knowledge of: core gas industry practices (procurement, transportation and distribution), risk assessment techniques, implementation of business strategies, analysis of different types of contracts in terms of costs and risks, etc.

In line with our strategic axis Education, we support the Future Graduates program of the Cimientos Foundation. Its objective is to accompany young people between the ages of 12 and 18 in a situation of social vulnerability so that they can finish high school and project a future with more and better opportunities. In addition to a monthly financial scholarship, the participating boys and girls receive personalized tutoring that promotes the development of socioemotional skills which improve their educational trajectory.

Committed to road safety and education in the communities where we operate, we have proudly supported the “TC2000 va a la escuela” program since 2022. This traveling program raises road safety awareness among school-age children through educational, interactive, and game-based activities tailored to each age group. Since its creation in 2005, this road safety education and awareness program has reached more than 1,000 schools and nearly 400,000 students across the country.

Rompecabezas and Technically (Puzzle and Technically) are TGN educational programs that seek to broaden the possibilities from which children and young people imagine and choose their future. Rompecabezas is aimed at primary school students, while Técnicamente is designed for students at technical secondary schools. Through game-based workshops, both programs promote interest in science and technology, challenge gender stereotypes associated with professionals working in these fields, and provide students with tools and role models to help them explore their career aspirations with greater freedom.
