Worldwide statistics show that most accidents and emergencies involving gas pipelines are caused by excavation work carried out by third parties without proper coordination.
Maintaining the integrity of the gas transportation system requires the commitment of everyone involved, first and foremost the pipeline operating companies, as well as property owners, local residents, excavation and utility companies, and government agencies responsible for road maintenance.
