At TGN we define a safety zone around gas pipelines where certain guidelines must be followed to avoid incidents.
The safety zone is within 30 meters on each side of the longitudinal axis of the pipeline.
You will be able to detect the safety zone by the presence of these signs.
What guidelines must be followed in
the safety zone?
No digging or soil movement. You can only cultivate up to a depth of 40 cm.
Do not drive heavy vehicles: the pipeline is not designed to support these loads.
Do not build or place fixed structures or fixings without TGN's authorization and supervision.
Ask TGN for authorization/supervision before digging.
Do not plant trees within 7.5 m of each side of the pipeline.
Do not light fires..
